What can be verified is thin and geographic. Both sit just north-west of the city centre, up toward the hills, so the estate rises above town on the same slopes that grow its coffee. That setting matters. The Antigua valley is ringed by three volcanoes, Agua, Fuego and Acatenango, and ANACAFE, the official coffee industry body, credits the region's rich volcanic soil and moisture-retaining volcanic pumice, refreshed by a fresh dusting of mineral-rich ash, with a cup it describes as elegant and well balanced with a rich aroma and very sweet taste.

This is one of Guatemala's most celebrated coffee regions, and the estate sits inside it. Now the honest core. The finca has no official website.

The domain filadelfiacoffee.com belongs to an unrelated Chinese company. The only official presence is a Facebook page titled Finca Filadelfia, Coffee Resort and Tours, and its content cannot be read without logging in. No Wikidata item exists for the estate.

Cherry to cup, and the versions of it you can buy

Every coffee-farm tour in this genre follows the same arc, and the bookable cards on this page describe it precisely. It starts at the nursery and the picking story: why only ripe red cherries are harvested, and how hands do the sorting. It moves through processing, where the fruit comes off the bean, then to drying patios, roasting, and finally cupping, the tasting that ties the whole chain together.

Via-Guate's card compresses that full cherry-to-cup journey into a 3.5-hour small-group tour on a farm near Antigua with hotel pickup included. The grower-led version adds something the big estates cannot: the people leading it are the families who grow the coffee. De La Gente runs about 3.5 to 4 hours door to door in San Miguel Escobar on Antigua's outskirts, with around 5 kilometres of walking, some of it steep, and a 12-ounce bag of roasted coffee to carry home.

Interpretation runs in Spanish and English, and round-trip transport from La Ermita de Santa Lucia is part of the price. An estate walk at Finca Filadelfia, if it runs as described by third parties, would add resort grounds and estate history on top of the farm story, but no estate itinerary is published anywhere official, so nothing can be promised or verified. The practical read: arrive with a fallback. Either book a priced tour from town and visit the estate gate separately as a bonus, or go with a plan B in your pocket. Pick a routing, budget the hours

The estate's own visit length is not stated anywhere official, so these timings come entirely from the bookable products. Match the routing to what you booked, not to what you hope exists.

Reading the routings

If the coffee experience is the priority, the first and third rows deliver a complete, priced day. If the ride is the priority, the second row is the honest half-day, provided you WhatsApp ahead and accept that no coffee tour is included. None of the three requires more than half a day, which leaves room for a viewpoint or a museum on the same day.

The ride, the fare, and the pairing

A tuk-tuk is the obvious answer. The municipal tariff is Q10.00 ($1.31) per in-town ride, though in practice visitors are commonly asked Q15 or more, so agree the fare before boarding, carry cash, remember the vehicles are not metered, and note that they generally stop working around 22:00. If you are already out toward the market end of town, chicken buses to the surrounding villages leave from the lot behind the central market, with no officially published fares, and the northern routes pass the same slopes. That matters because the estate sits on the same northern arc as Cerro de la Cruz, the hill viewpoint with the classic city panorama, and the ridge parks at Hobbitenango further up. Chain them into one half-day and you waste nothing.

The estate, Cerro de la Cruz and the ridge parks share the same northern arc, so one half-day chains the viewpoint and the gate with no wasted riding.
